Wuhan, capital city of Central China's Hubei province, has formed a network of fever clinics, setting them up in 62 hospitals and 203 communities, according to the National Health Commission.
In the future, the experience of Wuhan in this area will be promoted nationwide.
According to the Wuhan Municipal Health Commission, in order to reduce the risk of infection, the fever clinics established in 62 hospitals in the city are equipped with independent CT and rescue equipment.
After the COVID-19 epidemic, Wuhan also added fever clinics in 203 community health service centers (township health centers) in the city.
These fever clinics primarily play the role of preliminary screening and the transfer of patients. If there is a fever patient, the community doctor needs to register the patient's information, and then community staff members will accompany the patient to the fever clinic at a designated hospital for medical treatment.
