One new case of COVID-19 was found in Hubei on March 24 (an inbound passenger on Flight CZ8140 from Islamabad, Pakistan to Wuhan on March 22). Yesterday saw no new suspected case, discharged case or death.
Two asymptomatic cases were found in Hubei on March 24 (inbound passengers on Flight CZ8140 from Islamabad, Pakistan to Wuhan on March 15 and 22 respectively). No asymptomatic case developed to the confirmed one. No patient had been discharged from quarantine. Three asymptomatic patients were under medical quarantine (all were inbound passengers on Flight CZ8140 from Islamabad, Pakistan to Wuhan: two arrived on March 15 and one on March 22). 494 close contacts were under medical quarantine (three were close contacts of the asymptomatic patient on Flight CZ8140 from Islamabad, Pakistan to Wuhan on March 1; 243 were close contacts of the asymptomatic patients on Flight CZ8140 from Islamabad, Pakistan to Wuhan on March 15; 248 were close contacts of the confirmed patient and asymptomatic patient on Flight CZ8140 from Islamabad, Pakistan to Wuhan on March 22).
There is one confirmed case and suspected case currently. As of 24:00, March 24, a total of 63,639 patients were cured and discharged from the hospital. 4,512 people died of the disease. A total of 68,152 cumulative confirmed cases of COVID-19 had been reported in Hubei province.
