The value of Hubei's foreign contracted projects totaled 17.52 billionU.S. dollars in 2022, ranking the second in the country, the Department of Commerce of Hubei Province said on March 30, 2023.

The completed turnover of foreign contracted projects hit a record high with 6.94billion U.S. dollars during the period.

In 2022, the value of foreign contracted projects signed by Hubeienterprises in 37 countries along the Belt and Road rose 22.5 percent to reach 9.05billion U.S. dollars, 25.8 percentage points higher than national level and accounting for 51.7 percent of the province’s total. The business turnover completed by the enterprises took up 71.5 percent of the province’s total with 4.96billion U.S. dollars.
